Do I need to have experience running?

Nope! Past experience running is not required or necessary, I am happy to coach all fitness levels!

Do I need to be signed up for a race?

Nope! I will build a training plan based on your specific goals whether it’s to get in shape or finish a race!

What type of gear or equipment do I need?
You can go as basic as just needing a pair of running shoes or as detailed as needing shoes, watch, heart rate monitor, hydration pack, running belt, etc. There are no set requirements but we can talk about what gear might be helpful for you specifically.

Do I need a fitness app or fitness tracker?
While it can be helpful to have some sort of way to track your work outs, it’s not entirely necessary. When can discuss this more during your initial assessment.

Which plan is right for me?

There are two types of coaching options are available, basic and premium.

Basic Coaching is for the runner looking for a custom plan that they want to follow on their own with limited guidance throughout.

Premium Coaching is for the runner looking for optimal results through a custom training plan and with unlimited support and guidance throughout the entire training cycle.

How many weeks of training is best for me?

Each person is different in their experience and goals with running so here are some general guidelines to help you decide.

12 weeks – great for someone just getting in to running, or for someone coming back to running after a few years, in this amount of time to you can get in shape or get ready for a 5K to Half-Marathon race.

16 weeks – recommended for someone wanting a bit more time to get ready to cross the finish line of a 5K to Half-Marathon or for the experienced runner looking to improve their running game for 5K to Full Marathon

20 weeks – perfect for the new or experienced runner looking for a longer training cycle with phases to build endurance, strength and speed to tackle the 5K to Marathon distance

24 weeks - perfect for the new or experienced runner looking for a longer training cycle with phases to build endurance, strength and speed to tackle the 5K to Marathon distance

So you’re ready to find your happy pace, now what?
Once you’ve selected a coaching option and paid, you’ll then fill out the athlete questionnaire and sign the waiver. After reviewing your responses, I will reach out to you to complete the initial assessment. Through the initial assessment I will get to learn even more about you, your running experience, your goals and your schedule so I can build your completely custom plan.
